On November 10, Chairman Guan Qing of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd (CSCEC) met in Qingdao City of Shangdong Province with Municipal Party Secretary Li Qun and Mayor Zhang Xinqi of Qingdao City.
　　Chairman Guan extended his gratitude to Qingdao municipal government for the care and support given to CSCEC’s development in Qingdao, before briefly introducing his company’s operation in recent years, especially the accomplishment in infrastructure development. He expressed that CSCEC would integrate in the urban development strategy of Qingdao in a positive manner. By giving full play to its strength of building construction, infrastructure and investment, he stressed, his company would reinforce investment and cooperation in infrastructure and new-type urbanization, contributing to local economic and social development.
　　Municipal Party Secretary Li said that CSCEC had made great contributions to urban development and enhancement of habitat level in Qingdao by taking an active part in landmark and key infrastructure construction. He expressed his expectation that the two sides would further their cooperation in the fields of new airport, urban rail transit, infrastructure in key industrial parks, and featured towns.
　　After the meeting, Chairman Guan was accompanied by Municipal Party Secretary Li to visit the Qingdao Planning Exhibition Center where he learned the urban development history and future planning of Qingdao City.
