On October 11, the consortium of CSCEC comprised of China Construction Changjiang Construction and Investment Co., Ltd, CSCEC 3rd Bureau and CSCEC 8th Bureau won the bid for the renovation project for city access section (3rd Ring Road – Belt Expressway) of Chengdu – Chongqing Expressway, with the total investment of RMB3.4 billion.
　　The Project is located in the planned red line of Eastern New District of Chengdu City. With the overall length of 4km, the Project covers new side road at the city access of Chengdu – Chongqing Expressway, renovation of interchange of 3rd Ring Road and Chengdu – Chongqing Expressway, new Gonghe Avenue overpass, new tunnel passing under Chengdu – Chongqing Expressway, utility tunnels along the road, elevated bus rapid transit lines, civil works and installation works at stations.
