The bridge, located in Yangon Province and crossing Yangon River, is theimportant node connecting Pathein and Yangon City.The overall length ofthe bridge is 496.2m, made of 4 units of 30.8m simply-supported steel plategirder and 3 units of 122.0m simply-supported arch type steel truss, with themaximum span of 122m. 4-lane road is in the inner side of the main truss while the sidewalk outside. The total cost is about USD90 million. The project was completed, and open to traffic on November 11, 2014
