CSCEC AECOM CONSULTANS CO., LTD., was established in 1959, and was transferred from the Ministry of Construction to China State Construction Engineering Corporation in 2000. After joint venture restructuring in 2007, it became the Sino-foreign joint venture design consultation enterprise, held by China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited (one of the global top 500 enterprises), and shared by the largest design consultation corporate in the world - America AECOM Technology Group.

CSCEC AECOM CONSULTANS CO., LTD. is a large cross-regional and cross-industry design unit, holding Grade A engineering design qualifications in the municipal public utility industry, Grade A construction industry (construction works), Grade A water conservancy industry (urban flood control), Grade A highway industry (highway engineering), Grade A special project of landscape architecture, and pressure pipe design permit, etc., as well as Grade A qualification for project consultation, Grade A qualification of project supervisor, Certificate of Qualification for Urban Planning of the Foreign-funded Enterprises and Qualification Certificate for Foreign Contracted Projects of the People’s Republic of China. The scope of business involves domestic and overseas consultation, planning, design, supervisor, project general contract and project management, etc., the engineering design businesses including water supply, drainage, fuel gas, heat, roadway, highway, bridge and tunnel, environmental hygiene, landscape architecture, traffic engineering, rail transit and industrial and civil buildings, flood control, etc., the technical service businesses including consultation, supervisor, project management, etc. as well as urban-rural planning and general contracting businesses can be undertaken.

The number of current employees are over 1900, 12 persons enjoying special government allowance, 4 leading talented personnel of Gansu province, 42 professorate senior engineers, more than 350 persons of senior professional title and more than 540 persons of medium-grade professional title. 14 production departments and 10 functional departments are established under the headquarter, and branch institutes are respectively established in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangxi, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, and Ningxia, etc., providing high-quality service for the local project construction.

In more than 50 years, more than 9000 design, survey, consultation, supervisor, project management, planning and general contracting projects have been accomplished totally. More than 300 projects win provincial award for ministerial or higher-level excellent reconnaissance design, wherein, “Qujiang Water Plant of Xi’an Water Diversion Project from Heihe River” wins the First Session of China Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Prize and Silver Award for National Excellent Design, “Water Diversion Project from Luanhe River to Tianjin City” wins the National Quality Gold Award, “Phase I Project of 7th Water Plant in Xining” wins the Silver Award for National Good Design, “Nanjiao Water Plant Project of Xi’an City”, “Helanshan Water Plant in Ningxia” “Urumqi Hedong Sewage Treatment Plant Extension Project” and other projects win the First Prize for National Excellent Reconnaissance Design; “Wensu Pavilion Complete Library of the Four Branches of Literature” Library Project, Projects of “Dunhuang Art College of Northwest Normal University, Tian Jiabing Education College and Run Run Shaw Library”, “Infrastructure Construction Project of Leitai Tourist Attractions of Wuwei” all win the first prize of Excellent Reconnaissance Design of Gansu Province; Korla Urban Water Supply Project is selected as one of the 100 Classic & Excellent Projects of China State Construction Engineering Corporation.

CSCEC AECOM CONSULTANS CO., LTD. undertook the large-sized urban bridges and Roadway Project including Luozhou Bridge in Fuzhou, Linhai Bridge in Zhejiang, Jungong Road Viaduct Bridge in Zhonghuan Line of Shanghai City, Hohhot City Circular Road, South Xiaoxiang Road of Changsha City, Panyu Section of North Second Ring Road of Guangzhou City, as well as the large urban planning and comprehensive municipal engineering including Xinjiang Korla and Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industry Demonstration Zones, Ordos Equipment Manufacturing Base, etc. Since 2008, the Corporation undertook the projects of Lanzhou Urban Rail Transit Network Planning Compilation and Fuzhou Subway, Shenzhen Metro No. 9 Line, Xuzhou Metro No. 1 Line, Nanning Metro No. 3 Line Project Design Consultation, etc. by virtue of the solid technical advantage of the China State Construction and joint venture shareholder AECOM, which laid a good foundation for the exploration and development of the new fields such as rail transit, etc.

The Corporation had undertaken many national “Eighth Five-Year” and “Ninth Five-Year” scientific and technological key projects. More than 60 research results won the invention award, science and technology progress award above the provincial and ministerial levels. Among the results, the “Water Plant Research” won the second award of national scientific and technological invention,the “Used Activated Carbon Forced Discharge Regeneration Method and Device” won the third prize of national invention, and the “Normal Temperature Anaerobic and Integration Oxidation Ditch Sewage Processing Technology” as well as the “Efficient Turbidity Removal and Safety Chlorination Sterile Technique for Drinking Water” won the third award of national scientific and technological invention. More than 40 research and development results of multiple segment multistage A/O removal technology of nitrogen and phosphorous etc. won the national patents. The compiled High Turbidity Water Supply Project monograph won the second prize of national excellent books. Our corporation also participated in the compilation of the multiterm project design manual and specification.
